Gas Mixing Stations
Gas Mixing Stations for gases like Oxygen, Argon, Nitrogen and air which are used for decarburization, degassing and desulphurization. The gas mixing stations designed for this application provides safe, smooth and repeatable results with excellent flexibility for developing special grades of steel. The salient features include upstream pressure control, downstream flow control, choice of selection of specific gas medium, batching control and perhaps, the most vital and versatile ratio control. The tuyere safety pressure in process gas and shroud gas is fully taken care of to avoid hot metal entry and subsequent damage to the tuyere. The control and instrumentation system provides a complete Piping Skid ready for site use directly with sophisticated microprocessor based control panel and digital display of process parameters such as flow rates, pressure, totalized flow, lance position and converter position. The system will also provide converter, lance hood, burner safety interlocks and audio-visual alarms. We also offer total PLC, SCADA Control Systems with an operator interface through a PC. The system provides features like data acquisition, control, report generation and stoichiometric calculations for total batch control.
